Why attorneys work with us
Client evidence
A document for the demand-letter file
A dated Invoset report is contemporaneous evidence that a client is actively addressing accessibility. Paired with your counsel, it strengthens the good-faith-effort narrative most defendants want on the record.
Stays in your lane
A tool, not legal advice
Invoset reports on what fails against WCAG 2.1 AA. It does not give legal advice or make compliance guarantees. The legal strategy stays entirely with you; we just produce the technical record.
Optional commission
A referral commission where permitted
Where your state bar rules allow it, you can join our affiliate program and earn a recurring commission on clients you refer. Many attorneys skip the fee and simply recommend the tool. Both are fine.
How it works
- 01
Reach out
Send your name, firm, and the states you practice in. We reply within two business days and send a sample report so you can see exactly what your clients would receive.
- 02
Point clients to Invoset
When a client needs to show remediation effort, you point them to invoset.com. They run a scan, verify their domain, and start monitoring. We support them directly; nothing lands on your desk.
- 03
Use the report in the file
The client downloads a dated audit-trail PDF. You decide how it fits the defense or settlement posture. The report is built to be read by a non-technical reviewer.
- 04
Get paid, if you opt in
If you join the affiliate program, referred clients are tracked through a Stripe attribution code and commission pays out monthly via Stripe Connect. Confirm your bar rules first; see the FAQ below.
What the optional commission looks like
Only relevant if you opt into the affiliate program and your bar rules permit it. Numbers assume clients on the $99 Pro plan. Starter is $49 and Business is $199.
| Clients referred | Monthly to you | First-year payout |
|---|---|---|
| 3 clients | $89 | $1,070 |
| 10 clients | $297 | $3,564 |
| 25 clients | $742 | $8,910 |
Year one: 30% recurring. Year two and later: residual 15% on the same accounts while they remain active. No clawback if a client cancels.

- Bundling Invoset behind an undisclosed markup to clients
Frequently asked questions
Can attorneys accept a referral commission for this?
+
It depends on your state's rules of professional conduct. Some bars restrict fees connected to client referrals, especially where a conflict could arise. We are not your ethics counsel; please confirm with your bar before opting into the affiliate program. Many partner attorneys skip the commission entirely and simply recommend the tool to clients, which avoids the question altogether.
Does Invoset provide legal advice or compliance guarantees?
+
No. Invoset is a technical scanning and monitoring tool. It reports what fails against WCAG 2.1 A and AA and produces a dated record. It does not certify ADA compliance, does not guarantee any litigation outcome, and is not a substitute for your legal judgment. The legal strategy stays with you.
What does the client actually receive?
+
An on-demand scan, a recurring monitoring cadence, diff alerts when something changes, and a downloadable audit-trail PDF documenting each scan with timestamps. The report is written so a non-technical reviewer, including opposing counsel, can read it.
Can the report be used as evidence?
+
It is contemporaneous documentation of remediation activity, which is how good-faith effort is typically demonstrated. Whether and how it is used in any matter is your call. We do not appear in court, sign declarations, or provide expert reports as part of standard service.
What about the scope of what gets scanned?
+
We scan public pages discovered through the site's sitemap, including PDFs for basic structural checks. Authenticated or login-protected areas are on the roadmap, not current scope. We are explicit about this in our Terms so there is no overstatement to rely on.
Can I get a sample report before recommending it?
+
Yes. Email us with your firm details and ask for the attorney preview. We will send a sample audit-trail PDF within a business day so you can evaluate it before pointing a single client to it.
